As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
International Journal of Zakat (IJAZ) is an open access journal. All accepted manuscripts are published Free of Charges
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

The standard length of a research should be between 4,000 to 7,000 words including tables, appendices, and references.
The manuscript shall be written in word processing software and use single spacing on a A4 size paper.
Manuscript shall be written in English
Time New Roman font shall be used with 12 font size. All headings shall be numbered in sequence and should appear in boldface.
Manuscript of a research paper must include 150 to 250 words abstract.
Authors shall list 3 – 5 keywords after the Abstract.
A typical paper shall be arranged as follows: Title, Name of Author(s), Abstract, Keywords, JEL Codes, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
Authors shall provide up-to-date references of all concepts, views, and statistics used in the paper which are taken from other secondary resources.
All papers are screened for plagiarism first. Authors shall make sure that the similarity index shall not exceed 20 percent excluding references.
The reference list shall appear at the end of the paper and must follow APA Style.
Following the citation conventions, the readers can cite any of the published papers accessed online or in print form.
Authors by submitting their manuscript give the Journal exclusive right to process the papers for review and consider for publishing.
Once the papers are accepted for publishing, the Journal has a sole right to publish it electronically as well as in print form. Any publisher who wants to re-publish the paper in part or in full for commercial purposes must contact IJAZ for prior written permission.
It is expected that authors only contribute original contributions and which are not under review with any other journal, book series, conference paper or any other published medium.
